"Karen is a very thorough and thoughtful agent. I had very specific needs and she ensured that they were all met with every house we went to see. During my search we must have looked at over 20 houses and Karen was always willing and very patient with me. Once I had decided on a house we promptly went through the process of putting the offer together, made sure all the paperwork was in order and submitted it. There happened to be a time constraint as the sellers were leaving for vacation a few days after the offer was submitted. "Our experience with Karen Hewson at Keller Williams Edge Realty in purchasing our third and probably final home-a condo was the ultimate in selling skills and professionalism as well as a personalizing the process. What makes this more memorable was how we came to meet Karen-which can only be described as “meant to happen” A friend of ours told us about an open house at her condo building late summer of 2018. We liked the building and when we arrived Karen was the sales associate. From the outset she was very professional and attentive to our needs. We decided to make an offer but had not yet finalized our choice of realtors so we engaged her for this single offer. While we were unsuccessful in the bid Karen impressed us with her work ethic and attention to detail in providing us with all relevant info on the unit and the condo building. During this period she established great rapport and trust. We engaged her as our sales associate in finding an alternate site. We decided to open up condo or bungaloft possibilities in Burlington and other nearby cities. Karen researched various properties and cities for our consideration and in the end we decided Burlington was still our choice. Her patience and research over about a month to narrow the search was amazing. With Burlington our choice of cities we looked at about 7 additional properties including condo units at the building where we met Karen. In the end we decided to purchase there and would wait for a unit to come up as we had no urgency. Karen researched all of the floor plans in the condo project to give us a full overview on what was available-WOW factor. Our target unit finally came available and Karen provided us with full details. We were successful in our bid to get a fair price in the market and we appreciated very much her strategy and views in securing a successful offer. Normally you would think that this is the end of the story. But no- Karen took an active interest in ensuring we had a smooth transition to the closing. She provided us with several contacts and referrals in suppliers as we were doing a complete reno of the condo-she assisted in plumbing, flooring, kitchen and interior decorating contacts-several we successfully utilized. Throughout the process Karen was always there for us and probably the highest tribute we can give her-"she felt more like a close friend as opposed to a real estate sales associate” It was indeed a memorable experience.
